Riparian Pioneer planting along the Whakapuaka river at Paremata Flats Reserve will continue this year, Forest and Bird (F&B) in conjunction with Nelson City Council have around 6000 pioneer plants to get in the ground along with around 600 canopy trees provided by F&B to be placed within existing pioneer plantings.
Further to F&B planting programme this year we are working with some American owners of a unique property at Appleby where Forest and Bird will manage planting around 1800 plants, further details on this project closer to the time.
