Forest and Bird have just been awarded the Community Award from the NZ Plant
Conservation Network for ‘outstanding contribution to Native Plant
Conservation in NZ’ for Forest and Birds efforts with the Ecological
Restoration of Paremata Flats.
NZ Plant Conservation Network was established in 2003, its membership
comprises Botanists, Universities, Councils, Botanic Gardens, their aims are
to protect and advance NZ’s Native flora. It is a real honour to be
acknowledged and recognised with this award by this esteemed organisation.
