Murray Ogg and Liz Christensen generously put Ian Price’s name forward for the Pride of NZ Award in the Conservation Category for work with Paremata Flats Reserve; you can read about the awards at prideofnzawards.co.nz.
Initially there were four regional awards, three in the north island and one in the South Island, Ian was fortunate to win the regional conservation award for the South Island and went onto the finals on the 10th September, however the award went elsewhere.
